Your Voice Matters: Speak Up at Your County Delegation Meeting

Every county in Florida holds a legislative delegation meeting before the legislative session begins. These are public meetings where your local state representatives and senators gather to hear directly from citizens and community organizations about the issues that matter most.
This is our opportunity to remind lawmakers that Florida’s “Free Kill” Law must be repealed. Families across our state continue to be denied equal access to the courts and accountability when medical negligence leads to preventable deaths.
Why Attend?
You don’t need to travel to Tallahassee to make an impact.
Speaking at your delegation meeting puts the issue of repeal directly in front of your local lawmakers.
Every testimony adds to the momentum for change.
What We Need
FMRA is looking for advocates in every county to register to speak at their local delegation meeting. Each speaker is typically given just a few minutes to share their story—or simply to state clearly that this law is unjust and must be repealed.
This is a powerful, grassroots way to get involved, build community support, and ensure your representatives know their constituents are paying attention.
How to Get Involved

Together for Justice
County delegation meetings are happening soon across Florida. Don’t miss your opportunity to stand up for justice, equality, and accountability in our healthcare system.
Together, we can ensure no Florida family is left without justice.
